Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. Her past roles included being an presidential candidate as well as an anchor on TV at MSNBC. She is also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and a former co-host on The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they would be leaving the show, in May 2021. They wanted to create their own venture, called Breaking Points. Ball co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast with Kyle Kulinski. She has made guest appearances on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball says that her renewed fascination with politics to her experiences as a mother during the 2008 presidential primaries. Furthermore, she was a witness to the US presidential election during her time working in Jordan. She witnessed the impact that it had on the residents of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She co-hosted The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. In May of 2017, she founded the People's House Project, a political action group working on behalf of Democratic causes.
